Mendip Media is filming the whole of the Royal Bath and West Agricultural Show this year.

It means taking a well-earned break from food and product filming in our professional kitchen studio and getting out into the field to support farmers and the agricultural supply chain by raising awareness of food provenance.

We’re so happy to see that Mendip Media official footage filmed before the pandemic is showing in the current banner on the Show’s website. After 2-years of covid restrictions, the return of this large-scale, venerable food production jamboree is a welcome resumption of the seasonal festival cycle.

And to be there filming at a royal show is somehow fitting during the Jubilee weekend.

The importance of our food supply comes into sharp focus as the war in Ukraine enters its fourth month. Farmers, food processors and retailers in the UK are on the front line once again battling to provide secure and safe food for our island population.

As video producers we’re hoping to capture the excellence of produce, the spirit of innovation and the quiet resilience of a British agricultural culture that has weathered a storm in the countryside to keep on cropping.

With a roster of camera/drone crews filming across 3-days, Mendip Media has this monster event covered from sheep pens to food hall.

Our footage will provide the Royal Bath & West of England Society with a record of a rejuvenated celebration of British food’s field to fork journey, as well marking a historic occasion.
